Providing environmentally friendly products
We will provide resource- and energy-saving products that anticipate the needs of an informationoriented society by evaluating their environmental friendliness and safety throughout the product life cycle during the development and design stages and assuring their conformity to the demands of environmental conservation.
Production initiatives
We will strive to promote resource reuse and implement efficient, safe manufacturing techniques through environmental technologies for reducing waste products and preventing pollution. By achieving resource and energy savings through those environmental technologies at every stage of the product life cycle, from design and manufacture to distribution and disposal, we will help conserve the global environment on a continuing basis.
Compliance with environmental regulations and information disclosure
In addition to complying with national and local environmental regulations, we will strive to improve our own level of environmental management by establishing voluntary management standards. At the same time, we will work to disclose information about our environmental activities to all stakeholders both inside and outside the company, including customers and local communities.
Continuous improvement of our environmental management system
We will help bring about a sustainable global environment and society by building an ISO 14001-compliant environmental management system and working to improve it on a continuing basis through full employee participation.
