On December 1, 2008 AllianceBernstein L.P. submitted an amended Large Shareholding Report to Kanto Local Finance Bureau. Based on this report Elpida has confirmed that AllianceBernstein has become Elpida's new major shareholder as well as new leading shareholder. - New Leading Shareholder
