On December 12, 2008 AllianceBernstein L.P. submitted an amended Large Shareholding Report to the Kanto Local Finance Bureau under the Ministry of Finance. Based on this report Elpida has confirmed that AllianceBernstein's Elpida shareholding ratio has been reduced. As a result, AllianceBernstein L.P. is no longer Elpida's leading major shareholder. - Previous leading shareholder
