ITC Issues Final Determination That Elpida Does Not Infringe Tessera's Patents
TOKYO, JAPAN, January 8, 2010 – Elpida Memory, Inc. (Tokyo: 6665), Japan's leading global supplier of Dynamic Random Access Memory (DRAM), today announced that the ITC issued final determination that Elpida does not infringe Tessera's patents.
In a ruling dated December 29, 2009, the International Trade Commission issued its Final Determination that there is no violation of Section 337 of the Tariff Act by Elpida and several other suppliers of DRAM devices and has terminated the investigation initiated by Tessera. In its ruling the Commission found no infringement of the Tessera patents by Elpida or the other respondents.

It shows the fact that ITC reconfirms our legitimacy in our business activities.
