For servers, workstations, and desktop PCs, Elpida Memory provides its newly DDR2 SDRAM, operable at up to 533MHz, in modules that feature even higher density and speed. Small-size modules have also been successfully developed for notebook PCs using Elpida Memory's original high-density mounting technology.

With this comprehensive lineup, Elpida Memory can support a vast array of applications in the computer equipment field.

The potential of intelligent home appliances such as mobile phones and PDAs in a ubiquitous computing society is huge.

Mobile phones in particular are becoming smaller and more sophisticated with further developments in communication technology, leading to demands for memories that are high in density, take up minimum space, consume the lowest possible amount of power, and guarantee a wide temperature range.

To satisfy these demands, Elpida Memory offers Mobile RAM and SDRAM with a x32bit organization. Both products come in an small FBGA (Fine-pitch Ball Grid Array) package to promote further space-saving and succeed in guaranteeing a wide operating temperature range due to their outstanding circuitry. Mobile RAM also includes a synchronous interface for high-speed operation, and a range of functions to reduce power consumption, including partial array self-refresh and programable driver strength.
